Seomra Fiadh was erected in memory of a brave little girl, Fiadh O'Connor.
Fiadh was due to start in our school in September 2023, but sadly passed away a few months before, at the age of 4.
Fiadh was an inspiration to all that knew her, and we are delighted to honour her memory in this way.
Seomra Fiadh is a fantastic addition to our school, and all of our pupils really enjoy spending time in the room, whether it be reading, listening to music, playing tin whistle or potting plants. Seomra Fiadh is a living thing and will be forever associated with the school.
The school owes a huge debt of gratitude to all the sponsors and volunteers who contribued towards the initiative, and particularly to Fiadh's parents, Laura and Rory O'Connor.
Seomra Fiadh will be officially opened in September 2024.
